Refund Policy

Read the full policy

This page is designed in the same MHDiV structure with internal CSS, simple JavaScript, SEO metadata and structured schema.

Custom development work is planned, reserved and delivered in stages.

Because web development and software services involve time, planning, design, coding, communication and reserved availability, refunds are handled differently from physical products. Project-specific written terms may override or add to this general policy.

1. Scope of this policy

This Refund Policy applies to payments made to MHDiV for website development, PHP/MySQL web applications, landing pages, SEO work, speed optimization, business automation, support services and other digital work.

If your written proposal, invoice, agreement or project message contains a specific refund or cancellation term, that project-specific term will apply first.

2. General refund approach

MHDiV provides custom digital services, not ready-made physical products. Work may include consultation, planning, research, design direction, coding, testing, communication, revisions and deployment preparation.

For this reason, payments are not automatically refundable after work has started. Refund decisions depend on project stage, delivered work, time spent, expenses paid and the reason for cancellation.

3. Advance payments and deposits

Advance payments or deposits may be required to reserve project time and begin planning or development. A deposit may cover consultation, requirement review, design planning, file setup, research and initial development.

Deposits are usually non-refundable once MHDiV has started work, reserved time, prepared project structure, created designs, written code, purchased resources or declined other work to prioritize the project.

4. When a refund may be considered

A partial or full refund may be considered only in limited situations, such as when payment was made by mistake, duplicate payment was received, MHDiV has not started any work, or MHDiV is unable to begin the agreed work for reasons within MHDiV’s control.

  • Duplicate payment made by the client.
  • Payment sent before any scope was confirmed and no work has started.
  • Project cancellation accepted by MHDiV before planning or development begins.
  • A service paid for but not started due to MHDiV’s own availability issue.

5. When refunds are usually not available

Refunds are usually not available once custom work has started, deliverables have been shared, code has been written, design concepts have been prepared, SEO work has been performed, files have been delivered, or third-party purchases have been made.

  • Completed or partially completed custom design and development work.
  • SEO research, on-page optimization, metadata, schema or content structure work already performed.
  • Speed optimization, bug fixing, migration, setup or technical configuration already completed.
  • Work delayed because the client did not provide content, access, approvals or feedback.
  • Cancellation after approval of design, pages, modules or milestones.
  • Change of mind after work has been started or delivered.

6. Milestone payments

Larger projects may be divided into milestones. A milestone payment generally covers work completed or started for that milestone.

Once a milestone is approved, delivered or substantially completed, that milestone payment is usually non-refundable. Later milestones may be cancelled before work begins, depending on the written agreement and project situation.

7. Third-party costs are non-refundable

Some projects require third-party purchases or subscriptions. These may include domain names, hosting, SSL certificates, paid plugins, paid themes, APIs, stock assets, email services, cloud storage, server tools, payment gateway charges or other external services.

Once purchased, these costs are usually non-refundable because they are controlled by third-party providers, not MHDiV. If a provider gives a refund, MHDiV may pass it to the client after deducting any fees or work already completed.

8. Client cancellation

A client may request cancellation by contacting MHDiV in writing. The request should include the project name, payment details, reason for cancellation and the requested outcome.

MHDiV may calculate the value of work already completed, time spent, third-party expenses and reserved capacity before confirming whether any refund is available.

9. MHDiV cancellation or refusal of work

MHDiV may cancel or refuse a project if the requested work is illegal, unethical, deceptive, harmful, abusive, outside scope, technically unsuitable, repeatedly changed without agreement, unpaid, or impossible to complete due to missing client cooperation.

If MHDiV cancels a project before work begins and no third-party costs were paid, a refund may be considered. If work has already been completed or costs have been incurred, those amounts may be deducted.

10. Revisions before refunds

If the issue is related to quality, missing details or a misunderstanding, MHDiV usually prefers to correct the work according to the agreed scope before discussing refunds.

Refunds are not a replacement for normal revisions when the work can be reasonably corrected within the original scope.

11. Digital delivery and handover

Once files, source code, login access, website deployment, design assets, SEO work, content or other digital deliverables have been shared, refund eligibility becomes very limited because digital work cannot be returned in the same way as physical goods.

12. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Clients should contact MHDiV before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. Many issues can be resolved through clarification, revisions or a written cancellation review.

Unnecessary chargebacks may delay communication, suspend project access, stop support and require MHDiV to submit evidence of work performed.

13. How to request a refund review

To request a refund review, contact MHDiV through email or the contact page with your name, project details, payment amount, payment date, reason for request and any supporting information.

MHDiV will review the request based on project stage, time spent, work delivered, expenses paid and the written agreement.

14. Processing approved refunds

If a refund is approved, the processing method and timeline may depend on the original payment method, banking systems, mobile wallet, payment gateway or manual transfer process.

Any transfer fees, gateway charges, currency conversion costs or taxes may be deducted where applicable.

15. Policy updates

MHDiV may update this Refund Policy as services, payment methods or project processes change. The Last Updated date shows when this policy was most recently reviewed.
